The music came to a stop.
Alex Cleland whispered into Amanda's ear: "Would you like to go for a swim in the moonlight?"
"I'd be delighted."
They padded on deck in their stocking feet, and once their, Cleland peeled off his clothes, revealing a tall, well-proportioned, muscular physique. Amanda hesitated only briefly, then took off her clothes as well. Her musculature was as impressive, in a feminine way.
They dived into the water simultaneously, their bodies cleaving the water smoothly. The moon gleamed and glittered on the water, which was very warm and inviting, like the caress of a lover.
They came together and clasped hands, then as one dove down deeper into the water.
Amanda smiled inwardly. There were a few luminescent fish around, but for all the light they provided it was like swimming through outerspace. The only thing that kept her tied to the present was the pressure of Cleland's fingers on hers.
They rose to the surface and bobbed there, laughing.
Then Cleland drew her closer to him, and their lips met in a long kiss.
